Google provides webmasters with loads of useful applications. Two of the most useful are the AdSense ad serving program and the Google Analytics website statistics tool. If you have created a hub on hubpages, you probably already have an AdSense account at Google. Logging in to your account in order to check your earnings is as easy as navigating to
www.google.com/adsense/ an entering your credentials. Some of you might also have an Analytics accounts to track your hub statistics. Logging in is just as easy as with AdSense, just go to
www.google.com/analytics/ and enter your username and password. What some of you may not be aware of is the fact that AdSense can actually be integrated with Analytics, meaning that you can track your ad revenue through Google Analytics without needing to log in at two different places. Setting up your Analytics account to receive AdSense data is very easy and it will be even more easy if you follow this quick step by step guide. There are actually two ways to do this, the first (through Analytics) is presented below with screenshots, and the second (through Adsense) is presented in a video at the end of this hub.
Step by step integration guide (through Google Analytics)
Before you start, please note that to link to an existing Analytics account, your AdSense login must be an Administrator on that Analytics account. If you used the same e-mail address to created both accounts, like myself, this has already been taken care of.
Now, lets get started, shall we?
1. As a first step, you have to navigate to www.google.com/analytics/ and log in to your account. If you don't already have one, it is very easy to set one up right there.
2. After you have logged in, the homepage of Google Analytics will appear. What you have to do now is find the website profile with which you want to integrate AdSense and click the "Edit" button as seen in the image below

3. After clicking on the "Edit" button, the profile settings page for the selected profile will appear. You will see that the "AdSense Data" field will read "Not receiving AdSense data". This is exactly what we have to fix. To continue, click the "Edit" button shown in the image below
4. This will open the next page, which is the profile information editor page. Scroll down a bit until you find the "AdSense Data" option. Check the box called "Yes, this profile should receive AdSense data" which is underlined in the picture below.
5. After you check the box, AJAX will take care of the rest by displaying a box with a Google script. The last thing you have to do is insert this code on the top of every page that displays Google ads. I usually place it just after the tag. If you're using some kind of CMS, you can place this code inside the header file of the template (it's called something like header.php usually), so it will be automatically included in all pages. Assuming you have done everything correctly, when you visit the profile settings page again you should see the following message.

Congratulations, you can now track your AdSense revenue through Analytics! Remember that, according to Google, the display on Analytics might not always be a 100% accurate. If you want to be absolutely sure about your earnings, visit your AdSense account.
